5 foreign players who'll be called-up by Eddie Jones for summer tour

Foreign-born stars, such as Sam SUnderhill and the Vunipola brothers, have already shown how integral they can be for the Red Rose after making the step up to International rugby.

England's three-match summer tour to North America is set to be relocated to this country because of the coronavirus crisis. Then they are scheduled to play the USA Eagles, Canada and Scotland.

It’s been revealed that England aren’t keen on travelling while restrictions in both the United States and Canada mean they are struggling to host games.

The 28-year-old could become the next South Sea Islander to be given a chance to impress by England coach Eddie Jones. The Fijian, who is on an extended leave from the Yorkshire Regiment, joined the Bears on a two-year contract last summer and is England qualified. Naulago, who played Sevens for Bath and Saracens before joining Super League Hull FC, has scored seven tries for the Bears so far this season to get onto Jones’ radar.

His Dad Johan Ackermann, who departed as Gloucester boss for Japan last summer, confirmed that his son will be staying with the Cherry & Whites to pursue international honours. The imposing number eight, who has already been in contact with Eddie Jones, qualified for England on residency grounds in August 2020.

He made 22 appearances in his first season in Cherry and White, scoring six tries and earned a call up to the England squad to tour South Africa and bettered those figures in 2018-19 as he made 23 appearances and scored eight tries. Woodward has made the 15 shirt his own and offers stability in the back field.

Plug him in at 12, 13 or 15 and the Australian born Bristol star has been quality for the league leaders this season, currently ranking as one of the best attackers in the country and a menace for opposition defences. Jones loves positional versatility, so it's a surprise Sydney-born O'Conor hasn't been called up

Despite his stellar form for Harlequins, he’s since been in the international wilderness with no sign of a recall from Eddie Jones. However, following Owen Farrell’s recent performances during the Six Nations, it’s clear as day that England need a more creative number 10 to orchestrate the attack.
