Sale Sharks boss Alex Sanderson is set to move on a number of senior players at the end of the 2021/22 Gallagher Premiership season.

#1. Faf de Klerk - Yokohama Canon Eagles

Klerk will join Japanese side Yokohama Canon Eagles next season, the club said on Wednesday, in the latest big-name coup for the ambitious league.

#2. JP du Preez to Glasgow Warriors

The 6ft 10in lock will join the Warriors from Sale Sharks in the summer subject to visa clearance. Du Preez has only been with Sale for just over a year, having joined the English Premiership club from the Cheetahs, who used to compete in what was then the PRO14.

#3. Curtis Langdon and Cameron Neild to Worcester Warriors

England international hooker Langdon and back-row forward Neild both worked under Diamond during his successful ten-year stint as Sale’s Director of Rugby and will link up again with him at Sixways.
Diamond is currently working as Warriors Lead Rugby Consultant but he will succeed Alan Solomons as Director of Rugby at the end of the season.

#5. Lood de Jager - released

The international second-row will reportedly return to South Africa when his contract expires.

#6. AJ MacGinty to Bristol Bears

Regarded as one of the best fly halves in the Premiership, the 31 year-old links up with Pat Lam once again, having helped Connacht to a maiden PRO12 title during the 2015/16 season.

#7. Rohan Janse van Rensburg to Sharks

Rohan scored three tries in eight appearances during his loan spell in 2017 and impressed enough to make the deal permanent the following summer ahead of the 2018/19 campaign. Since then, he has gone onto make 73 appearances for Sharks – including 22 this season – scoring 23 tries.

#8. Marland Yarde - released

Having had his profile removed from the club website, the former England winger is expected to be moved on this summer.
