"He was balanced and calm, and influential when he comes in as first or second receiver. Happy to counterattack and play with ball in hand, he glides rather than sprints."
Winger: Jonny May (England)

"I have plumped for Tompkins, despite the fact he will be still be beating himself up over the intercept pass he threw to Ntamack, while he also fell off Jordan Larmour to allow the Irishman to score in round one.
"Apart from that, though, he has been sensational. All his carries were done with venom and he plays with his head up, as shown by the try Tipuric scored at Twickenham after Tompkins’ break."
"He gave every midfield a tough time with ball in hand. He won turnovers, he made carries, metres and offloads. What a find."
Centre: Owen Farrell (England)
"He was by no means perfect, but the skipper adds ballast, control, authority in the midfield."

"Hamish Watson is a weapon of a rugby player who never stops going forwards. Sam Underhill had an insane couple of games against Scotland and Ireland, while Charles Ollivon had a belter of a tournament as France’s new captain.
"But despite the Frenchman topping the try charts, providing more try assists and winning most lineouts he gets nudged out by Tipuric.
Number 8: Gregory Alldritt (France)
"Aldritt made most carries, was second for both metres made and turnovers, and was huge for France. He looks in awesome shape."
