England captain Owen Farrell ran extended his hand following Callums Sheedy's laye conversion before returning to position for the final moments of the game.

BBC Wales broadcaster Phil Steele highlighted the gesture, saying: "Hi Owen Farrell, I'm a proud Welshman who’s been involved in our great game as fan, player, teacher, coach and broadcaster for over 50 yrs and I just wanted to say how lovely it was to see you congratulate Callum Sheedy after his final conversion.

"The spirit of rugby personified."

3. Darren Lockyer

The rugby league legend was an Australian international and Queensland State representative captain, who played his entire professional career with the Brisbane Broncos. During his 17-year career he set appearance records for his club, state and country, and also set additional all-time records for most National Rugby League appearances, most State of Origin appearances, most games as captain and most tries for the Australian national team.

Farrell said: “There are so many, but it would have to be Jonny (Wilkinson), simple as that. The consistency he showed throughout his career was incredible, he set a new standard for fly-halves all over the world."

Wilkinson followed principles and teachings to help control his perfectionist tendencies, according to an interview he gave with newspaper in 2009
