Which international player has won the most international caps without scoring a try? We attempt to answer the question!
Here are the top 20 highest-capped internationals who never scored a try:
19. JULIAN WHITE (England) - 51
During his nine years in the England front-row the Leicester Tigers legendary tighthead was renowned for his destructive scrummaging and steely edge. Also appeared four times for the Lions in 2005...didn't score for them either
18. HUW BENNETT (Wales) - 51 caps
The former Ospreys hooker has played in some of Wales’ golden seasons including their 2008 Grand Slam winning campaign and the 2011 World Cup rollercoaster ride, yet the man, who was forced to retire from the game after an Achilles tendon injury against Scotland in the 2012 Six Nations, never registered a try.
17. DUNCAN JONES (Wales) - 57 caps
Formed one half of one of the most recognisable ble prop combos in Test match rugby when packing down with his fellow Neath and Ospreys ‘hair-bear’ Adam Jones. Howeverm unlike Jones, he never crossed the whitewash.
16. GRAHAM ROWNTREE (England) - 57 caps
Was England forwards guru under Stuart Lancaster, but lost his job when Eddie Jones took over the Red Rose reins. Like White, Leicester front-rower Rowntree also went with the 2005 Lions winning three caps.
15. PHILL ORR (Ireland) - 59 caps
After making his debut against France in 1976, Orr was part of two Triple Crown winning seasons in 1982 and ‘85 and was at one time the world’s most capped prop when making his 58th Test appearance.
14. MIKE ROSS (Ireland) - 61 caps
The Leinster man was credited with giving some badly needed solidity to the Irish scrum after making his Test bow against Canada in 2009. Ross took over the mantle from John Hayes, who own try-scoring record was two touchdowns in 107 games.
13. JEAN CONDOM (France) - 61 caps
The 6ft 6in Biarritz lock made his debut against Romania in 1982 and five years later was part of the French squad who made it all the way to the final of the 1987 World Cup only to lose to France.
12. LUKE GROSS (USA) - 62 caps
he former lock had a spell at Stradey Park in 2001-03 among his travels that took in Harlequins, Rovigo, Roma, Rotherham, Newcastle and Doncaster. Now head coach of Sacramento rugby side in his homeland
11. DAN VICKERMAN (Australia) - 63
Began his rugby grounding with the Waratahs and had a spell with Northampton while studying at Cambridge University. Named in three World Cup squads from 2003-11.
10. BRADLEY DAVIES (Wales) - 64
9. ALLAN JACOBSEN (Scotland) - 65
Scotland prop Allan Jacobsen made his international debut against Canada in 2002, but was forced to wait 15 months for his next appearance against Ireland.
He was picked for the 2003 and 2007 Rugby World Cups, winning 65 Test caps in total without ever scoring a point.

The England prop, who toured with the British & Irish Lions in New Zealand, is the newest member of the list after winning his 51st cap during the 2017 Six Nations. Still searching for that first try though...

One of the old school front-rowers who loves the dark arts of scrummaging and the tight exchanges.
6. QUINTIN GELDENHUYS (Italy) - 67 caps
Hung up his Italy jersey in November 2016. Nevertheless, he can be proud of his 67-cap career that saw him captain the Azzurri five times. 6
5. CONSTANTIN DINU (Romania) - 69
The prop amazingly played Test rugby for close on 18 years having made his debut against West Germany in 1965 and his last international appearance was against Russia in May 1983.
Charteris made his debut for Wales in 2004 versus South Africa in 2004 having previously represented Wales at Under 19 and Under 21 levels. He's also not scored a try for his three previous club teams, USA Perpignan, Racing 92 and Bath.
3. LUIS PISSARRA (Portugal) - 75
The scrum-half was a stalwart in the team between 1996 and 2007, which included four appearances at the 2007 Rugby World Cup.Despite being a back he somehow never scored a try.
2. SALVATORE PERUGINI (Italy) - 83 caps
Perugini made his international debut against Ireland in Italy's opening game of the 2000 Six Nations.
Perugini made his name in Italy with Calvisano before representing his country at U21 and A level. He signed for French giants Toulouse before securing a place in the 2006 Six Nations' "Team of the Tournament".
Appearing at two World Cups as well as being a constant in the Azzurri side wasn't enough however for him to ever cross the whitewash.

1. OWEN FRANKS (New Zealand) - 108 caps
A mobile, powerful tight-head prop, Owen Franks has become a key member of the All Blacks front-row over the past year.
Franks made his international bow as a replacement against Italy in June 2009, capping his first year of Super 14 rugby with his first All Blacks jersey.
Eight years, two Rugby World Cups, and 95 caps later has still not registered a point for his country.
