Fullback: Rob Kearney (Ireland) -A standout performer as Ireland went to the top of the World Rankings. Out sprinted George North to deny the Welsh winger a certain try on four minutes before scoring his 15th Test try.
Winger: George Bridge (New Zealand) - Scored a brilliant quartet of tries as he showed off his blistering pace and deft finishing. Made an incredible eight line breaks and beat 10 defenders to run for a match-high 236 metres.
Centre: Robbie Henshaw (Ireland) - Some outstanding work in defence and carried the ball strongly going forward.
Centre: Anton Lienert-Brown (New Zealand) - The powerhouse made a game-high 17 carries, 89 metres in attack, 10 tackles, one turnover, two clean breaks and beat six defenders.
Winger: Darcy Graham (Scotland) - The undisputed Man of the Match for the Scots as they overcame Georgia and may just have played his way into Scotland’s starting XV. He had a hand in both of Scotland’s first-half scores, and he grabbed a try of his own.
Fly-half: Owen Farrell (England): No number 10 really stood out this weekend. The England man, however, had a strong showing on the whole, missing just one of his eight kicks and defending his channel resolutely throughout.
Scrum-half: TJ Perenara (New Zealand) - He was in thick of it throughout and barely put a foot wrong.
Prop: Jack Dempsey (Australia) - Just about the Wallabies’ best forward of the night as they overcame Samoa 34-15 in Sydney.
Hooker: Codie Taylor (New Zealand) - Didn't look out of place when hanging out with the backs on the flanks. He threw a dummy, pulled off a sidestep to score a try.
Prop: Tadhg Furlong (Ireland) - After being manhandled by Sam Underhill at Twickenham he was hunting collisions and got rewarded when bashing through three red jerseys for a 51st-minute try.
Lock: Courtney Lawes (England) - An all-action performance from Lawes, who was the standout man in England’s pack. He was an eager carrier, regularly led the line in defence and was able to slow Italian ball at the breakdown.
Lock: James Ryan (Ireland) - Always clocks out with double-figure statistics – 10 carries for 12 metres and 10 tackles. Irreplaceable.
Flanker: Ardie Savea (New Zealand) - Carried for 179 metres – by far the most of any forward – beat four defenders from three clean breaks and ended the match with a whopping four try assists.
Flanker: Pieter-Steph du Toit (South Africa) - Busy as always. Did a mountain of work on defence, especially to cover when teammates slipped tackles. One of the Boks with a HUGE engine.
Number 8: Kieran Read - The 34-year-old veteran was superb in his final match on New Zealand soil. Will look to end his international career by leading the All Blacks to a third successive Rugby World Cup.
