Italy international Tommaso Allan hails from a rugby family; his Scottish father William Allan and his Italian mother Paola Berlato both played in Italy, while his uncle John Allan earned 9 caps for Scotland and 13 for South Africa. The 25-year-old former Scotland U20 international has won 40 caps for the Azzurri, scoring 217 points.

Brodie, who has 82 caps for the All Blacks, won the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and was the winner of World Rugby Player of the Year in 2014 and is the youngest ever winner of the award. His uncle, John, played 52 matches for the All Blacks between 1977 and 1985.

Two Scotland legends. Roy was capped 47 times at scrum-half for the dark blues between 1980–1988, and British Lions in New Zealand in 1983. Nephew Greig, who is also a scrum-half, was the captain of the Scottish national team from 2013 until 2017 and has currently won 63 caps, scoring 623 points. He also, like his uncle, toured New Zealand with the British & Irish Lions in 2017.

The Curry twins are the nephew of former England hooker John Olver and cousins of former Northampton Saints fly-half Sam Olver, who is now at Ealing Trailfinders. John won three full caps for England, which included captaining England on a tour of Canada in 1993.

Fred Tuilagi is the son of former Leicester and St Helens winger Freddie Tuilagi, brother of Manu, and is the second generation of the Tuilagi family to play professional rugby. He, like his uncle, played for Leicester Tigers before joining Championship side, London Scottish. He primarily plays at Number 8 but can play at Blindside flanker if required.
