He is more fondly remembered by his fans as someone who has given everything in representing his country, and left opposition players reeling with his fearsome tackling ability.

"The Chiropractor" was at home on the wing or in the centre, and first appeared in a Samoan jersey on a murky afternoon in Cardiff during the 1991 World Cup.

Lima smashes the England talisman fly half Jonny Wilkinson in a huge hit, but it is judged too high and he concedes a penalty. The match turned out to be Lima's last ever match, and his last ever big hit, as he was banned for the tackle later in the week, ruling him out for Samoa's last match of the tournament against the USA.
