Following the World U20 championship in 2015, World Rugby predicted these five to have a great future in the sport and will become 'rugby legends'.

1. Garry Ringrose - Ireland

The most successful of their five selections, the outside-centre has established himself a regular starter for club and country in the years since. However, does he look set to become a 'rugby legend'? In short, there's a small chance, which is more than I can say for the majority of the players on this list.

2. Ned Hanigan - Australia

The second-row was named his side's MVP for the tournament back in 2015 and made his debut for the Wallabies in 2017 against Fiji. Despite winning 21 caps, the powerhouse has failed to establish himself as the world-class forward. It's not like he's been a huge flop, just a little bit disappointing if we're honest.

3. Bautista Ezcurra - Argentina

This lad had everything; ridiculous speed, outrageous offloads and the ability to tackle, which can never be underappreciated when it comes to a centre. Although he has won five caps for the senior international side since, he has failed to impress or score a try in those outings. He's now wasting away in Major League Rugby with Atlanta.

4. Akira Ioane - New Zealand

The powerhouse back-rower did, back in 2017, win a single All Blacks cap. However, his career seems to have stalled of late with the 25-year-old often finding himself out of the Blues team. Rumours of a move to Japan have surfaced, which isn't surprising considering an international recall seems some way off.

5. Aaron Morris - England

The 25-year-old speedster was a Saracens player during the tournament, but would move to Harlequins in 2016. Morris has made 30 appearances since moving to the Stoop in what has so far been an underwhelming, uncapped career when you consider just how exciting he looked early doors.
