1. Georgia

2. Wales

The Encyclopedia of Wales states that the sport of rugby union is "seen by many as a symbol of Welsh identity and an expression of national consciousness".

3. New Zealand

Rugby union is the national sport in New Zealand, and is popular across all sections of New Zealand society, and many New Zealanders associate it with their national identity. It has the largest spectator following of all sports in New Zealand.

The All Blacks has the best winning record of any national team in the world, and is currently ranked first in the world after winning back-to-back Rugby World Cups.

4. Madagascar

As of October 2015, Madagascar is ranked 41st worldwide by World Rugby (WR), and boasts over 22,540 registered players and more than 410 rugby clubs. The sport was introduced to Madagascar in the 1890s by French railroad workers who played the game in the capital, Antananarivo, during the colonial period.

5. Tonga

Rugby union is the national sport in Tonga. Sumo has a following, while football, judo, surfing, volleyball, and cricket have gained popularity in recent years. Rugby league and Australian football are also played.
