Every team has their unsung heroes.
Some players naturally grab the headlines but the Premiership is also filled with lesser-known stars who play important roles with their teams.
So, here at RUCK, we want to celebrate the often-unrecognised men around the English top-flight.

Bath Rugby - Tom Homer
The fullback joined Bath Rugby in February 2015 from London Irish. Homer has been equally prolific with the boot in Bath colours when called upon.
Exeter Chiefs - James Short
Keen to get his career back on track after a disappointing spell at London Irish, the speedy winger has enjoyed a stellar first few seasons in Devon. His tally of 26 tries in just 49 appearances at the end of last season showcase how much he has relished his role for the Chiefs, but his finishing prowess has also made him one of the most dangerous attackers in the Aviva Premiership.
Gloucester - Tom Savage
Tom captained the club in the 2013-14 season, and his experience and versatility have seen him as one of the first names on the teamsheet for the Cherry and Whites since.
Harlequins - Tim Visser
The Netherlands-born Scotland back, 30, joined the club from Edinburgh in 2015 and will stay until 2020. He has scored 28 tries in 53 Harlequins appearances and has won 33 Scotland caps, the most recent coming in June.

Leicester Tigers - Mathew Tait
An England international as a teenager and a World Cup finalist, Mathew Tait collected his first Premiership title in 2013 after a decade in professional rugby. Although his first season with Leicester was affected by injury in 2011/12, Tait returned from 14-month absence during the autumn in 2012 and never looked back.
London Irish - Tommy Bell
In just his first season with Irish in the Championship, Bell racked up more than 250 points, his goal-kicking faultless throughout the campaign. He's continued that form this season and has been one of the Exiles better consistent performers.
Newcastle Falcons - Scott Lawson
A vastly-experienced international, Lawson has to date collected 46 caps for Scotland including a try-scoring performance in his team’s opening match of the 2007 Rugby World Cup against Portugal. As well as his playing commitments with the Falcons he is also head coach of National Two North club Tynedale.
Northampton Saints - Mike Haywood
Over the course of the past few seasons, Mike Haywood has quickly shown that he is far more than a stand-in for the experienced Dylan Hartley in the Saints front row. The hooker became Saints' top try scorer in the 2016/17 season, scoring eight tries in 29 appearances that year.

Sale Sharks - Sam James
After a breakthrough year in 2015-16, in which he was the joint winner of the Sharks’ Young Player of the Season award, James took his appearance tally beyond 50 last season. And his reward for a string of impressive performances was an England debut against the Barbarians, and being called up to the tour to Argentina.
Saracens - Richard Barrington
After arriving from Championship side Jersey, the 28-year-old has managed to develop himself a reputation as a fine scrummager and a dependable prop forward.
Wasps - Josh Bassett
The 25-year-old winger joined Wasps from Bedford Blues in 2013 after beginning his rugby career with Ampthill. Despite all the international superstar's Wasps have signed down the years, Bassett continues to shine.
Worcester Warriors - Chris Pennell
Worcester born-and-bred Chris Pennell is a product of the Warriors Academy and burst onto the scene in 2007 when he made his Premiership debut against Bath Rugby. The full-back, now in his 11th season with Warriors, has made over 175 appearances for the Club.
