Fastest time to score a try in a rugby union match
The fastest recorded try in a rugby union match was scored after 7.24 seconds by Tyson Lewis (UK) for Doncaster Knights Rugby Union Football Club versus Old Albanians at Wollam Playing Fields, St Albans, UK back in November last year.
The record-breaking moment took place during a NCA Rugby National 1 League game in England, with winger Lewis scoring direct from kick off after racing onto the ball after it had bounced over the head of an Old Albanians player.

The oldest Rugby Union competition is the United Hospitals Cup, first played in 1875 between teams representing hospitals in England.

Often described as "The Greatest Game of Rugby Ever Played", 109,874 paying fans turned out at Stadium Australia, Sydney to see New Zealand beat the home side 39-35 in July, 2000.

The longest marathon playing rugby union is 28 hr 23 min and was achieved by School of Hard Knocks and Scotty's Little Soldiers (both UK) in Sunbury-on-Thames, UK, from 15 to 16 August 2015.
This attempt took place to raise money for local charities. The final score was Scotty's Little Soldiers 1480 - 1849 School of Hard Knocks
Most points in a Rugby Union international career
The most points scored in a Rugby Union international career is 1,457 and was achieved by Dan Carter (New Zealand) from 21 June 2003 to 15 November 2014.
Carter scored a try on his All Blacks debut against Wales aged just 21 and has since surpassed the 100 tests with New Zealand. His most recent test was against Scotland: he scored three penalties in his familiar role as fly half.

The largest rugby ball is 4.709 m (15 ft 5.39 in) long and 2.95 m (9 ft 8.14 in) tall and was achieved by Cathay Pacific Airways Limited for the Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens 2011 in Hong Kong, China, on 15 March 2011.
The rugby ball is 12.066 m (39 ft 7.03 in) in circumference from east to west and 9.34 m (30 ft 7.71 in) from north to south. It is about 20 times of the regular sized rugby ball.

The largest rugby scrum consists of 1,758 people and was achieved by members of Palmerston North City (New Zealand) in Palmerston North, Manawatu, New Zealand, on 29 June 2017.
The event took part of Palmerston North's Winter Festival at Palmerston North Boys High School.
Oldest international rugby union player
The oldest international rugby union player is Mark Spencer (b. 21 May 1954) who was aged 57 yrs 340 days when he represented Qatar in the Asian 5 Nations Competition versus Uzbekistan in Dubai, UAE, on 25 April 2012.
Mark was born in the USA but took up Qatari residency, allowing him to represent the national side.

The most siblings to play in a rugby union international match is 5 and was achieved by Archie, Jack, Frank, George and Max Skofic (all Slovenia) playing for Slovenia against Bulgaria in the European Nations Cup Division Two match at Park Siska, Ljubljana, Slovenia on 12 April 2014.
Archie, George and Frank Skofic started the game and played the full 80 minutes. Max Skofic entered after 25 minutes and scored 3 tries, while Jack Skofic entered after 77 minutes. All five brothers finished the game on the winning side as Slovenia defeated Bulgaria 43-17. George Skofic also scored a try while Frank Skofic kicked one conversion.
