Originally slated to be played at Wanneroo Rugby Club, all stakeholders have now aligned to bring the Force's first-ever home semi-final in the Super Rugby Women's competition to the biggest possible stage.
The move to HBF Park has been made with the support of Tourism WA and ensures all rugby supporters in Perth will have the opportunity to cheer their Force on against the NSW Waratahs before enjoying the Wallabies' third Test of the inaugural
Nations Championship.
Gates at HBF Park will open at 1.45pm AWST, with the semi-final to kick off at 2pm AWST and the Test at 6pm AWST.
Rugby Australia General Manager, Women's Rugby Jilly Collins said: "Bringing the Super Rugby Women's semi-final to HBF Park is a fantastic outcome for everyone involved and will be a fitting occasion for the Western Force's first-ever home finals fixture.
"This is a special opportunity to showcase the quality of our competition and our talented athletes, while also giving fans the chance to enjoy two elite rugby matches back-to-back.
"We're looking forward to an outstanding atmosphere at HBF Park as the Force and Waratahs battle for a place in the Grand Final before the Wallabies take on Italy in what promises to be a memorable day for rugby in Perth."
During the Super Rugby Women's regular season, the Force bested the Waratahs to become the first Australian side to defeat the six-time champions in the history of the competition.
