The Crusaders, Super Rugby's most successful side, finished second in the standings after suffering their first defeat of the season to the Hurricanes in the final round.

They will welcome the 2015 champions the Highlanders in Christchurch in the first round of the knock-outs.
The last remaining quarter-final sees the Brumbies host the defending champions the Hurricanes in Canberra.
