Wasps are reportedly closing in on a move for a giant South African forward as Lee Blackett looks to strengthen his squad.
The Rugby Paper reported on Sunday that Wasps were talking to a South African lock who can also play back row - with a view to him joining as early as this week.
Online rumours suggest that player could be Jacques du Plessis, who has played in France for Montpellier since 2015.
He previously played for the Bulls in his homeland of South Africa.
The 6ft 7in tall 26-year-old fits the bill of being able to play both in the second and back rows.

A number of rugby stars have shown off their new, shredded physiques after transforming their bodies during lockdown.

1. Jonathan Davies

Less Guinness and more hard work has seen the former Wales star transform himself. The man is 57-year-old!

2. CAMILLE CHAT

Famed for his huge neck, the France hooker has simultaneously buffed up and slimmed down during lockdown. Hopefully, he doesn't snap Finn Russell in half during Racing training.

3. SEAN O'BRIEN

The London irish back-rower took to Instagram and surprised his fans by posting pictures of his shredded body, sending the internet into a meltdown.

4. JOHNNY SEXTON

The 35-year-old is gunning for a straight third British & Irish Lions tour in South Africa in 2021, and has looked to get himself in prime condition for when rugby returns. He's looking PUMPED!

5. STUART HOGG

Footage of the Scotland fullback in images that he posted on his instagram account demonstrate to us about how much weight the Scot has put on. Hopefully, he still has the pace too!
