The back-rower, who has played 34 Super Rugby matches and scored six tries, featured in a dozen matches for the Waratahs last season, putting in some dynamic and eye-catching displays. He's thought to be a replacement for the departing David Pocock.
EWAN ASHMAN
From: Sale Sharks To: Edinburgh (Short-term deal)
They have recruited last season’s Scotland Under-20s hooker Ewan Ashman on a short-term loan from Sale Sharks. The 19-year-old – who has played 10 times for the age-grade side since making his debut against Italy at the start of the last Six Nations – will link up with capital outfit immediately at their four-day training camp in St Andrews.

The 20-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the franchise and is so far only one of two confirmed outside backs in the squad for next season along with Josh McKay.
He has been a part of the New Zealand U20 World Championship squad for the past two years and played a vital role in the nations Sevens team during the 2018/19 World Series.
