Huw Jones still set for Premiership move despite position switch

Glasgow Warriors and Scotland speedster Huw Jones is still set to be on the move next summer, despite his recent positional switch.
The 26-year-old, who has long been linked with a move away from Warriors, is set to make a move to the Gallagher Premiership when his contract expires in 2021.
Making his name as an outside-centre, Jones has recently demonstrated his versatility by playing at fullback since the PRO14 returned last weekend.
Although he has yet to put pen to paper, 25-cap Jones is poised to sign a two-year deal with Leicester Tigers, according to RUCK sources.
Jones, who joined the Scotstoun club in 2017, has reportedly turned down a deal in the region of £300,000 a year to stay in favour of a move to England.

1. Richard Wigglesworth (Saracens)

He joined London Irish on a short-term contract. Having scored 354 tries and appeared in 459 matches for his country, Norton holds two all-time World Rugby Sevens Series records.
3. Jamie Gibson (Northampton Saints)
The 29-year-old back row was released in June at the conclusion of his contract, but has been brought back into the squad at Franklin’s Gardens to cover Tom Wood – who will be out of action for a minimum of three months – when the Gallagher Premiership resumes in August.
4. Matt Garvey (Gloucester)
The 32-year-old joined Gloucester on a short-term deal following his exit from rivals Bath at the expiry of his contract. He can play lock or in the back-row, and has joined up with the Cherry and Whites for the remainder of the Premiership campaign.
5. Brad Barritt (Saracens)
Saracens captain Brad Barritt has signed a short-term contract extension until the end of 2019-20, which will be his final season at the club. The 33-year-old has ensured that he will be available for the rest of Saracens’ Premiership campaign and for their European Champions Cup quarter-final as he looks to finish his 12-year career on a high.
6. Levi Douglas (Wasps)
Wasps have signed second row Levi Douglas on a deal until the end of the 2019-20 Premiership season. The 24-year-old began his senior career with Bath after joining their academy from French side Oyonnax in 2015.
7. Logovi'i Mulipola (Gloucester)
The 6’4, 128kg Samoan recently joined Gloucester on short-term deal and has significant experience, with over 100 Premiership appearances under his belt. The Samoan international has also been capped 31 times by his country and has the ability to play on both sides of the scrum.
8. Charlie Beckett (Gloucester)
Beckett has been training with the Club ahead of Rugby restarting and has now penned a short-term deal with Gloucester Rugby. The lock made seven senior appearances in his previous spell, whilst he was a member of the Senior Academy.
