Tom Curry facts:

1. He, along with his twin brother Ben, is the son of Bishop Heber High School Head Teacher David Curry and nephew of former England hooker John Olver 
2. It is true that the brothers had a trial at Manchester City, who the twins support, but that was scuppered by Tom scoring a spectacular own goal. Probably for the best in the end.
3. Making his England debut five days before his 19th birthday against Argentina in 2017, Curry became England’s youngest forward since 1912

Courtney Lawes Facts: 

1. Lawes was born on 23 February 1989 in Hackney, London, but grew up in the Northampton area
2. He has featured for England in 11 successive Six Nations campaigns
3. Lawes didn’t receive an email checking his availability for the British & Irish Lions 2021 tour because it was sent to an old email address
4. The second-row and wife Jessica have four children – Nell, Teddy, and twin boys Otto and Hugo
5. Lawes played an integral part in Saints securing both the Premiership and European Rugby Challenge Cup titles in 2014

Henry Slade facts:

1. Slade is the great nephew of former Portsmouth F.C. footballer Geoff Williamson.
2. The centre has Type 1 diabetes, and often injects insulin at half-time in a game.
3. Slade lives with obsessive compulsive-disorder, OCD to those that know it best. 
4. He has won the Six Nations and Autumn Nations Cup with England as well as lifting the Gallagher Premiership and European Champions Cup trophies with Exeter.
5. Slade and his partner Megan have a daughter, Olive, together.

Marcus Smith Facts:

1. Smith was born in Manila in the Philippines and picked up the game at the age of 7 with Centaurs RFC when his family decided to move to Singapore, he learnt the game there before moving to Sussex as a 13-year old
2. His Dad, Jeremy Smith lived in Hong Kong from 1992-97, playing for Valley and the national side at fly-half
3. At just 18 years of age and 200 days, he made his Premiership debut at Twickenham to become the youngest fly-half to start in the top flight since a 17-year old George Ford
4. He is known to many of his teammates as Smudge, which is the traditional military nickname for anyone with the surname Smith.

#1. Owen Farrell (Saracens) - £820,000

Owen Farrell facts:

1. The Saracens star went to school with England teammate George Ford
2. His education began in rugby league – he joined Wigan St Patricks at the age of eight
3. He became the youngest ever player to appear in English professional rugby, making his debut aged 17 and 11 days. This record was later beaten by schoolmate Ford
4. It’s well known that Owen is the son of Ireland head coach Andy Farrell. However, it’s less commonly know that his uncle Sean O’Loughlin is also a rugby league legend, winning 34 caps for Great Britain between 1993 and 2009
5. He was not at first registered as a Farrell, but took mum Colleen’s family name of O’Loughlin. The couple married in 1995, changing Owen’s surname to Farrell the following year.
