WATCH: New footage emerges of parachutist stuck on stadium roof ahead of Toulouse vs Sale Sharks

There was plenty of drama before kick off in the South of France, as a parachutist got stuck on the rafters of the Staduim de Toulouse prior to the match. Toulouse secured an impressive 38-15 win over Sale Shark to progress on to the quarter-finals of the 2024/25 Champions Cup, yet the disastrous pre-match stunt took the headlines from the Round of 16.
Multiple camera angles of the parachutist have since gone viral across social media, with a new view of the initial miss-calculated landing recently shared on X (formerly Twitter.) Tight Five Rugby caught a video of the stunt going wrong, as the parachute got snagged on the stadium roof ahead of the match. You can watch the clip in full here:
Kick off was delayed by 40 minutes in Toulouse, as the parachutist was rescued from the stadium roof. Thankfully all reports suggest that the daredevil was safely brought back to ground, in what was certainly a memorable way to start the afternoon at the home of the defending Champions Cup title holders.
