Liam Williams and long-term partner Sophie Harries are engaged after the Wales superstar popped the question on holiday in Barbados.
The fullback jetted off to the island along with teammates Gareth Anscombe and Cory Allen following the cancellation of rugby matches due to coronavirus.
Williams whisked his now model fiancé away, while Anscombe was joined by wife Milica and Allen was accompanied by Fran Melindo.
He then popped the question to Sophie on a stunning beach on Tuesday afternoon.
The Swansea-born fullback has been dating the model since 2015 and she describes herself as a “small town Welsh girl living in London.”
He names her as one of the reasons he moved from Llanelli RFC to London-based Saracens in 2017, saying: “There’s also the point that I will be living closer to my girlfriend. It’s a new chapter and I am ready to try something different."
With Williams rejoining Scarlets ahead of the 2020/21 season, the pair will be moving back to Wales shortly along with their Beagle pup called Benji.
