Wales fullback Liam Williams is on his way back to the Premiership

Williams’ former club Saracens have reportedly expressed interest in re-signing the experienced international as they look to bolster their squad following an injury to veteran Alex Goode.

The 36-year-old Goode sustained an injury during the warm-up ahead of Saracens’ narrow defeat to Leicester on October 26. The club has since confirmed that he will be sidelined for 10 to 12 weeks. Goode had been a key figure for Saracens this season, featuring in five Premiership matches so far.

What's Next for Saracens?
Saracens take on London rivals Harlequins in the Premiership Rugby Cup this Saturday. After that, Premiership action resumes on November 29 with an away trip to Newcastle, followed by the start of their Champions Cup campaign next month.
