A lot of Eddie Jones' main stars were missing for the tour of Argentina, which England won 2-0, with a whole host of debutants taking their opportunity to impress.

FULLBACK
Alex Goode remains out of the squad but is a quality player while Mike Brown, who was overlooked by Warren Gatland for the British & Irish Lions, impressed with his showings in Argentina
Meanwhile, Jack Nowell and Anthony Watson both got run outs at 15 during the Lions tour and performed well, giving Jones plenty to think about.

WINGERS
Wow, England really does have a ridiculous amount of options.
We saw the best and worst of Denny Solomona during the tour of Argentina; falling off tackles to almost cost his side the game before coming up with a stunning winning try in the last few minutes.
Jonny May and Marland Yarde had decent games against the Pumas too while Semesa Rokoduguni is not completely out of the reckoning.
Jack Nowell and Anthony Watson are again contenders in their preferred position.
And last, but certainly not least, is, who followed up his terrific Six Nations by being the Test starter for the Lions against the All Blacks. Not a bad thing for the CV.
OUTSIDE CENTRE
Jonathan Joseph will have been disappointed not to get more game time in New Zealand but is probably still the favourite to start for Jones' men in the Autumn.
Exeter playmaker Henry Slade showed his class in Argentina too while Ben Te'o could also move here if Farrell is picked at 12.
It's also where Elliot Daly plays his rugby for Wasps.
Another tough one.
INSIDE CENTRE
Owen Farrell showed he can be a world class centre during the 2017 Six Nations and the epic British & Irish Lions tour to New Zealand.
Lions teammate Ben Te'o also impressed in New Zealand with his physicality and it could be interesting to pair these two up as a 12/13 or 10/12.
Other contenders include Alex Lozowski and Piers Francis, who both had decent performances during the tour of Argentina.
A shock name to throw into the mix is but we very much doubt he'll be fit and firing on all cylinders considering his torrid record of injuries the last few seasons.
FLY-HALF
Surely still just between Ford and Farrell.
We'll throw and the returning names in the mix just to make it interesting.
SCRUM-HALF
Still between Danny Care and Ben Youngs.
A tough choice though...
LOOSEHEAD PROP
Possibly the easiest selection. is an exciting prospect though!
HOOKER
Dylan Hartley remains skipper but he's got a number of talented young hookers snapping at his heels.
Jamie George, who was the Lions test hooker this summer, surely put both of his hands up for selection.
and wouldn't let you down either.
TIGHTHEAD PROP
Kyle Sincker surely? Maybe not.
Dan Cole has been reliable for Jones while Harry Williams showed his pedigree in Argentina.
Again, three good options.
LOCK
Good luck picking two of these.
Maro Itoje is a definite for us, but none of the others would let you down.
Despite being overlooked by Warren Gatland, after much debate, would be our other choice.
BLINDSIDE FLANKER
Chris Robshaw has been an ever present in the England side for what seems like forever now.
Other options include Mark Wilson, who caught the eye during the summer, or the versatile Maro Itoje.
could also be back in the mix after his suspension.
OPENSIDE FLANKER
has had this shirt on lockdown when he's fit but will face stern competition from youngsters and .
NUMBER 8
With Billy Vunipola still recovering from a serious knee injury it may be a better idea to save him for the Six Nations.
Since making his debut last November has continued to improve and was one of the standout performers in both Tests against the Pumas.
