The weird and wonderful world of players who’ve never scored a Premiership try

There have been a number of players in the Gallagher Premiership who despite being involved in many, many games simply cannot score tries.
RUCK takes a look at the individuals with the worst dry spells in terms of try-scoring.
1. Braam van Straaten (Sale and Leeds)
The Springbok fly-half – who scored two tries in 21 tests – started 44 games for Sale and Leeds without scoring a try.
2. Kris Fullman (Bristol, London Irish and Leeds)
The powerhouse prop went 91 games without scoring between 1997 and 2005.
3. Scott Morgan (Bristol)
The lock did not score in 73 games.
4. Mark Sorenson (Newcastle Falcons and Northampton Saints)
He has the worst dry spell in Premiership history. The lock went 127 matches between 2006-2013 without scoring.
5. Paul Hill (Northampton Saints)
England international prop, who has won five caps, is currently scoreless after 48 appearances for Northampton.
6. Nathan Budgett (Bristol)
The flanker played 51 games in the Premiership for his club between 2006 and 2009, but never once scored a try in that time.
7. Rory Clegg (Newcastle Falcons and Harlequins)
The fly-half played in the Premiership across a seven-year period and played 65 Premiership games without scoring a try.
8. Andrew Northey (Rotherham and Northampton Saints)
The centre went 59 games between 1997 and 2001 completely tryless.
