Bristol confirm departures

Pat Lam appears to be in the midst of a midseason salary cap juggling act as Bristol Bears confirm the departure of tighthead prop Jake Armstrong.
The moves comes a week after Welsh flanker Dan Thomas was sent out on loan to URC side the Scarlets for two weeks.

10 Wasps find new clubs:

French Top 14 side Perpignan have confirmed the signing of Brad Shields after he was released from Wasps. The England international, who won six caps under Eddie Jones, joins with immediate effect. FULL STORY
Powerhouse prop Biyi Alo had been pictured training with Racing 92 and on Thursday evening, an image was posted on their social media along with the message ‘welcome Biyi’.
Meanwhile Harlequins announced the signing of former the Wasps winger Josh Bassett, who joins the Club with immediate effect until the end of the season as further cover for their backline.
Centre Paolo Odogwu and prop Vincent Koch have joined Stade Francais. FULL STORY

John Ryan, who was let go by Munster at the end of last season having played 197 times for them, is in contention to play against Ulster on Saturday after agreeing to rejoin the Irish province a short-term contract.
23-year-old Will Porter, represented Wasps 58 times, is back at Bristol Bears while American Cam Dodson has joined French side Aurillac.
And finally, Exeter Chiefs have today bolstered their options in the front-row with the signing of Dan Frost on a short-term deal. FULL STORY

Where could the other Wasps stars be going?

Alfie Barbeary is known to have held discussions with at least three Premiership clubs as he weighs up the prospect of heading to France with Union Bordeaux Bègles .
The Telegraph have reported that Tigers have opened talks over a deal that would take Charlie Atkinson to Mattioli Woods Welford Road this season. He is currently training with England.
The Rugby Paper has backed up a report from RUCK earlier this week by suggesting Joe Launchbury is set to sign for his boyhood club, Harlequins. We now understand his hometown club Exeter Chiefs could also be in the mix.
Bristol Bears and Leicester Tigers have been linked with England flanker Jack Willis, while brother Tom has reportedly held talks with Bordeaux.

Dan Biggar's shock Saints departure

Wales and Northampton fly-half Dan Biggar is a target for Toulon, with the French club wanting to sign him immediately.

Irish-qualified centre joins Munster

Irish-qualified centre Morris has joined Munster until the end of the season. The 23-year-old Morris was identified by Irish Rugby’s IQ programme and was involved with the Ireland U20s in 2019

Sinckler signs new deal

England and British and Irish Lions prop Sinckler has signed a one-year contract extension at Bristol.
The 29-year-old tighthead will remain at Ashton Gate until the summer of 2024, having moved to the club from Harlequins in the summer of 2020. FULL STORY

Bath sign two more Worcester stars

Bath have signed former Worcester Warriors fly-half Billy Searle and back Jamie Shillcock on short-term deals.

Hill signs long-term deal with Bath

The 23-year-old was one of four Worcester players to move to the Rec on loan earlier this month in the wake of the Warriors' financial problems.
The flanker, who has two England caps, made his debut Bath against Northampton last week and is the latest former Worcester player to find a new club. FULL STORY

Harlequins confirm huge departure

South Africa prop Wilco Louw has put pen to paper on a deal to head home and join the Bulls in July 2023, as he brings an end to his time at Harlequins.
The outstanding tighthead prop, who was part of the Quins squad that won the Premiership title in 2020/21, has opted to move to Pretoria next year. FULL STORY

In search of a high-level international centre for next season, Stade Francais have entered advanced talks with England and Harlequins playmaker Joe Marchant.
