BEST PLAYERS
Josh Navidi (Wales)
His position change from flanker to number eight didn't impact his performance much with ITV giving him the official man of the match prize. Back-row colleague Thomas Young was also impressive.
Braam Steyn (Italy)
The 26-year-old flanker was outstanding; stealing numerous linouts, making 16 tackles and 12 carries.
WORST PLAYERS
Jayden Hayward (Italy)
The fullback turned the ball over twice and conceded two penalties. He tried hard but made far too many simple errors.
Jonathan Davies (Wales)
Being captain didn't inspire him to rediscover his best form. Davies' never really looked like a leader and his performance was less than inspiring, making just four metres from his eight carries and missing two tackles. He will have far better games than this during this Six Nations.
