"The Reason You Play" - Saracens Captain Farrell Previews Premiership Final and Line-Up

Mark McCall has confirmed his Saracens team to take on Sale Sharks, in the 2022/23 Gallagher Premiership Final. Saracens are searching for their sixth Premiership title, and hope to deny the Sharks their first Championship triumph since 2006.

Saracens are back in the final for back-to-back seasons, and aim to right the wrongs of their last trip to Twickenham Stadium. The sight of Freddie Burns' 79th minute match-winning drop goal, lives in the minds of the Saracens players and staff, as Leicester Tigers clawed their way to the 2021/22 Premiership title.
There are plentiful significant occasions taking place in the match, as Jackson Wray will hang up his boots at Twickenham Stadium. The Saracens number eight has been picked to start, and will wrap up a 15-year career with the men in black.
Saracens captain Owen Farrell spoke to the official Saracens club website, about the upcoming showdown at the home of English rugby.

“These games are the reason you play and that makes it so exciting. We’ve worked hard this year and the lads have done a brilliant job to put us in this position but we want to make sure we finish it off.
Last year is in the past, it took us a while to think about how to get the best out of ourselves but we’ve made some good steps forward this season and hopefully that is shown on Saturday.”
Loose-head prop Eroni Mawi is the one change for Sarries, from the side who beat Northampton Saints in the semi-final, as Mako Vunipola will look to make an impact from the bench.
