According to reports, Rugby could potentially return with uncontested scrums and shortened rucks and mauls.
The Mirror has suggested this morning that World Rugby are considering drastic amendments to enable the sport to survive during social distancing.
In the article, it's suggested that new laws could include unopposed scrums, shortened rucks and mauls, and frequent stoppages for players to wash hands.
Quite how shortened rucks and mauls would be regulated remains to be seen, given the unpredictability of them.
Speaking about the return to rugby, a World Rugby spokesperson told The Mail on Sunday: "We take the health and wellbeing of the rugby family seriously and employ an evidence-based approach to transmission risk mitigation.
"The WHO guidance identifies high transmission risk as being over 15 cumulative minutes of exposure."
