The best costumes as rugby stars go all out for Halloween 

Firstly, the winter ball is out. You know the one. The clocks have gone back, and the yellow ball is bouncing across the pitches again. Just as it should. How about that for Autumn Internationals fever?

More importantly, Halloween means we’re officially on the road to the Autumn Internationals—think of it as our very own “Road to the Final,” but with more scrums and fewer chair shots.

But rather than letting the holiday slip by without a trick or a treat, a handful of rugby stars got into the spirit, showing off the good, the bad, and the truly terrifying in fancy dress. Let’s take a look.

England international centre Joe Marchant got into the Halloween spirit to celebrate with fiancé and Alan Shearer's daughter Hollie.

In the post, which Hollie captioned with just love heart and pirate flag emojis, she was photographed staring lovingly at Joe, who was a lot more understated with his pirate look.
