Harlequins have confirmed the signing of experienced hooker George Turner as their most recent addition for the 2025/26 campaign.

Caps, Clubs, and Comebacks
At 32, Turner brings a vast reservoir of international know-how, boasting 45 caps for Scotland and appearances in both the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cups.
From Edinburgh to Scotstoun Stardom
A product of Edinburgh’s youth setup, Turner broke into the professional scene there before making the switch to Glasgow Warriors in 2017. Over seven seasons at Scotstoun, he clocked up 102 games, establishing himself as a linchpin in the Warriors’ forward pack with his powerful scrummaging, sharp ball distribution, and relentless work rate.
Japan Adventures Before Quins’ Crescendo
In June 2024, Turner ventured to Japan to join Kobe Steelers, adding another chapter to his career in the competitive Japan Rugby League One.

Harlequins have already strengthened their squad by signing three key players:
Kieran Treadwell (Ireland, from Ulster)
A powerful lock known for his physicality and lineout expertise, Treadwell brings international experience with Ireland and has been a consistent performer in the United Rugby Championship with Ulster.
Guido Petti (Argentina, from Bordeaux)
An experienced Argentine international lock, Petti is valued for his strong work rate, defensive solidity, and ball-carrying ability. He has competed at the highest level in both the Top 14 and for the Pumas.
Harry Williams (England, from Pau)
A versatile front-row forward capable of playing both loosehead and tighthead prop, Williams has developed his scrummaging and set-piece skills in France’s Top 14, earning recognition as a promising England prospect.
On the departure side, Harlequins have seen several players leave, including notable exits such as Nathan Jibulu (to Sale Sharks), Will Joseph and Will Trenholm (both to Gloucester), and Dillon Lewis and Wyn Jones (to Dragons). Veteran scrum-half Danny Care retired this summer. Additionally, a number of players were released, including Lennox Anyanwu, Caleb Ashworth, Charlie Claire, Lewis Gjaltema, Tom Golder, Leigh Halfpenny, and others.
