World Rugby initiated an investigation, but ultimately chose not to charge the South Africa hooker on Thursday citing "insufficient evidence."
The Rugby Football Union responded with a strongly worded statement expressing their "extreme disappointment" with the decision.
Following Curry's accusations of racial abuse from Bongi Mbonambi during their semi-final, the Sale Sharks flanker was subjected to a whirlwind of social media hate from trolls online.
He received death threats, and the 25-year-old's family have been mentioned in the hate messages too.
"If it’s a player, coach or referee, I don’t support that and I feel for him,” said Kolisi, who considers himself a friend of Curry.
“I have spoken to him (Curry), I sent him a message when I saw that was going on because he’s somebody that I respect and I’ve played against for quite a while.
“We’ve experienced it too. Cobus [Reinach] and his family received death threats earlier this tournament.
"As a rugby family, as much as we compete, we do support each other when things like this happen.
“We can take it as players, when it comes to you it’s fine, but when families are involved it’s different.
“I have let him know we are supporting him, we are thinking of him.”
