RUCK's Six Nations team of the weekend: Who made a name for themselves and who was the villain? We give our expert view of the second round.
POLL:
15. Jordan Larmour (Ireland): Scored a wonderful opening try for the Irish. His step is like old age. You see it coming, but there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. 65 metres made from his 16 carries, beating four defenders.
14. Andrew Conway (Ireland): Capped a fine all-round display by scoring Ireland's final try. Wales found him hard to handle. Also pulled off an incredible banana kick.
13. Robbie Henshaw (Ireland): Emphatically answered questions about playing at 13. Nice offloads in the first half and gave Tompkins a torrid time before departing to HIA.
12. Sam Johnson (Scotland): Carried hard and fast and coming off second best in contact on more than one occasion didn’t dampen his ambition.
11. Teddy Thomas (France): Took his early try well, thanks to a great kick and some clever blocking by Vincent. The weather meant it wasn't a week where wingers could shine.
10. Johnny Sexton (Ireland): The heartbeat of this Irish side. Recovered from a horrible shank on his first conversion to lead the side to an important victory.
9. Antoine Dupont (France): Makes France tick. The diminutive playmakers break in the 17th minute directly led to a try for his captain, Charles Ollivon. He’s the form 9 in the world rugby.
1. Ellis Genge (England): His late try secured victory for Eddie Jones’ men, though, as they got their Six Nations campaign on track following last week’s defeat to France. He made the difference.
2. Jamie George (England): Faired much better at the line-out than his opposite number at Murrayfield, and stuck gallantly to that task for 80 minutes. Made a game-high 19 tackles. Looked a leader, too.
3. Tadhg Furlong (Ireland): His bullocking dart for the line for his sides second try delighted the Ireland fans. The best tighthead in the world without a doubt right now also made 11 tackles without missing.
4. Maro Itoje (England): Quietly excellent throughout. No opportunities in the loose, but made 18 tackles, won turnovers and was a key man in a very solid set-piece effort.
5. Alun Wyn Jones (Wales): The inspirational skipper was a rock in defence, making a match high 19 tackles, while showing his skill in attack with a superb offload in the build-up to Tomas Williams try.
6. Jake Polledri (Italy): The more I watch him, the more I'm impressed. A proper baller who can also put in a hit!
7. Sam Underhill (England): All-action display from the Bath flanker whose breakdown work and tackling deservedly earned him the man of the match award.
8. CJ Stander (Ireland): He was the man of the match against Scotland last weekend and the South African-born powerhouse was the standout performer once again. Another huge performance, player of the tournament thus far without doubt
