Fullback: Stuart Hogg - 8/10
Took just 90 seconds to kick off the hosts try-scoring after collecting Tommy Seymour's knock through. Looked visibly fitter since giving up the Guinness, and has now scored a record-equalling 17 tries for Scotland.
Wing: Tommy Seymour - 7/10
The Lions winger wasn't at his best but provided a great kick for Hogg's opening score. Also relished the physical challenge posed by the Samoans.
Centre: Huw Jones - 8/10
The centre used his power and speed to score a delightful try after 34 minutes as he continues to enhance his fast-growing reputation. Good to see him back from injury.
Centre: Alex Dunbar - 6.5/10
Used his bulk to power over for the Scots' fifth try and was effective in his usual role as defensive leader.
Winger: Lee Jones - 6/10
The 29-year-old has worked hard to get himself back into the Scotland reckoning and made a few nice breaks, and offloads without being spectacular.
Fly-half: Finn Russell - 8/10
Mixed fortunes from the tee, but an excellent playmaker. One of the most creative and unpredictable number 10's in the world.
Scrum-half: Ali Price - 7/10
Ran the show in Greig Laidlaw's absence.
Prop: Darryl Marfo - 7.5/10
Tackled manfully and scrummaged impressively.
Hooker: Stuart McInally - 9/10 (STAR MAN)
Line-out was, a success, and his speed around the pitch was impressive too. Almost forgot to mention he scored TWO tries, one in each half. A titanic shift from the hooker.
Prop: WP Nel - 5/10
Was replaced on 30 minutes after fracturing his forearm. Played alright, but his Autumn is likely over already.
Lock: Ben Toolis - 7.5/10
One of the 25-year-old's best performances, tackling and carrying relentlesly
Lock: Jonny Gray - 7/10
Lots of grunt work, but nothing really spectacular.
Flanker: John Barclay (captain) - 7/10
Communicated very well with referee, and continues to look the part as skipper. Worked very hard to shut down the Samoan back-row and did a lot of carrying first half. Give his all.
Flanker: Hamish Watson - 8.5/10
The lynchpin of the Scotland back-row earned his money today with a relentless shift at the breakdown, winning a number of turnovers. Excellent, yet again.
Number 8: Ryan Wilson - 7/10
Made a number of good carries, tackles, and even managed a turnover. The abrasive powerhouse took no prisoners.
