Scotland captain John Barclay agrees move away from Scarlets

The flanker has been with the Welsh region since leaving Glasgow Warriors in 2013 and helped the Scarlets lift the Guinness PRO12 title last season.

But the BBC report the 31-year-old, who is poised to lead his country against the All Blacks at Murrayfield on Saturday evening, has agreed to join Edinburgh next summer.

Edinburgh are expected to formally announce his signing next week.
