Sale Sharks have confirmed a major squad overhaul ahead of next season, with 15 players leaving at the end of the current Premiership Rugby campaign and a further seven having already departed.
Among the biggest names to move on are Raffi Quirke, Rob du Preez and Dan du Preez, with several destinations already confirmed.

Rob du Preez
Sale’s record points scorer will bring an end to his outstanding spell in Manchester to join Aviron Bayonnais in the Top 14. Widely regarded as one of the club’s modern greats, du Preez leaves as a true Sharks legend after Alex Sanderson described him as a “future hall of famer.”
Raffi Quirke
The England national rugby union team scrum-half will join Newcastle Red Bulls ahead of next season. Quirke emerged from Sale’s academy to become one of the most exciting young players in English rugby, and the move offers him the chance for a fresh start after several injury-disrupted campaigns.
James Harper
The academy graduate will also head to Newcastle Red Bulls. Harper was highlighted by Sanderson as a player who is “Sale through and through,” having progressed through the club’s development system into the first team.
Dan du Preez
