Transfer News: Exeter Chiefs table bid for powerhouse forward

It's been reported that Bulls versatile forwards Jannes Kirsten is being linked with a transfer to the Gallagher Premiership.
The 25-year-old, who can play in both the second and back-row, could be on the move to Exeter Chiefs, according to Rugby Inside Line.
From ‘unfashionable’ beginnings, he forced his way past his more fancied contemporaries and into the Blue Bulls U19 Currie Cup squad.
His work rate, physicality and willingness to put his body on the line were exemplary, so much so that the Baby Bok selectors had to take note.

He was duly rewarded with a place in the national squad of the U20 Junior World Championships, before swiftly making his senior Currie Cup debut.
Now a Super Rugby regular, Kirsten has thrived in an otherwise struggling team. Consistent and disciplined, he is the type of player that every coach finds invaluable.
