Quick feet, crisp passing, pace, intelligent kicking, interceptions and even breakdown skills have been at the heart of Marcus Smith's emergence as the finest young fly-half in the country.
Chosen in Eddie Jones' 33-man squad for a three-day training camp in Oxford in September, the 18-year-old is continuing on a meteoric ascent.
But looking back just four years, here he is posing for a picture with Marland Yarde. It's mad to look at.
