We take a look at five players who flopped during this weekend's round of Premiership fixtures, which includes a number of underperforming England stars.
#1. Ben Youngs (Leicester Tigers)
Leicestershire Live 5/10: "He made a couple of good passes that gave two half-breaks, but a lot of passes were either above the head or slightly behind the man."
#2. Kyle Sinckler (Bristol Bears)
Bristol Live 4/10: "After not being named in England’s training squad next week Sinckler had an absolute shocker in front of Eddie Jones, dropping at least three balls and shelling penalties in the scrum."
#3. Jonathan Joseph (Bath Rugby)
Somerset Live 5/10: "Overshadowed by his younger brother Will on the day as he returned to his boyhood club."
#4. Jimmy Gopperth (Leicester Tigers)
Leicestershire Live 4/10: "In his long career, few defeats will have hurt as much as this one. Gopperth made errors in midfield that led to to scores, and was overrun and overpowered throughout by Nick Tompkins and Alex Lozowski."
#5. Rich Lane (Bristol Bears)
Bristol Live 5/10: "Given the tough job of stepping into Charles Piutau’s big boots and he failed to do so. Scored a try but got stepped inside out by Mateo Carreras for the bonus point try."
