According to RUCK, it is indicated that the England coach has narrowed down his list of potential captains to Ellis Genge and Jamie George.
Bristol confirmed Genge's hamstring injury days later, initially projecting a full recovery in time for the Six Nations.
A recent report from the Mail Online suggests Genge is utilising a hyperbaric chamber, breathing pure oxygen in a pressurised environment, to expedite his recovery.
