Louis Bielle-Biarrey set to make huge decision on career

The Union Bordeaux-Bègles winger has scored an incredible 17 tries across the past two Six Nations campaigns. Still only 23, his strike rate has set new standards in the competition.

He finished this year's tournament in spectacular fashion, crossing for four tries in France's 48-46 victory over England to seal the title.

In doing so, he surpassed his own Six Nations record after scoring nine tries the previous year, while also extending an extraordinary run of scoring in every match across both tournaments.

His performances earned him the Player of the Tournament award for a second straight year.

Bielle-Biarrey has also played a central role in Union Bordeaux-Begles' back-to-back Champions Cup triumphs, further enhancing his reputation as one of the game's elite finishers.

According to Actu Rugby, he remains one of several France internationals whose contracts expire next June, only a few months before the World Cup.

UBB have yet to agree fresh terms with the winger, fuelling speculation over his future. Although a move away from the Top 14 appears unlikely, a rival club offering a lucrative deal could test his loyalty.

He is far from the only high-profile France player approaching the end of his contract. Thomas Ramos, Francois Cros, Anthony Jelonch, Charles Ollivon, Emmanuel Meafou and Jefferson Poirot are among 25 other capped internationals set to become free agents at the same time.

With so many leading players still weighing up their futures, the coming months are expected to bring plenty of transfer activity across French rugby.
