LIST | The six one-cap wonders of the Eddie Jones era

Here we look at the England one-cap wonders since he took over in December 2015 - the list every English player will be hoping to avoid.

The talented Worcester back row was then called up to the full England squad for the 2018 autumn internationals and made his England debut against Japan in November at the age of only 19.

England Head Coach Eddie Jones included Hill in his Elite Player Squad for the 2020 Six Nations. The 20-year-old has now become a first-team regular at Sixways and could definitely go onto become a regular for England in the years to come.

On 20 April 2017, Eddie Jones named Maunder in a 31-man squad for the summer tour of Argentina. The talented scrum-half then made his debut in the first test against Argentina, coming on for Danny Care in the 77th minute to create the winning try in Santa Fe .

Maunder was then selected for Eddie Jones' pre-season England training squad, but hasn't really had a look in since. He now finds himself linked with a move away from Exeter after falling out of favour.

The Wasps hooker was called up to England's 2016 Six Nations Championship squad on 13 March 2016 as injury cover for Jamie George and would make his England debut that Spring as a replacement against Wales on 29 May 2016.

However, he didn't play much rugby in the two years that followed with his career being badly affected by knee and shoulder injuries. The 28-year-old, who re-joins Sale Sharks this summer, has since got his career back on track, but has struggled to get himself back into the England reckoning.

You would hope that Thorley won't be on this list for long. However, with Jonathan Joseph starting ahead of the Gloucester wing during the Autumn before being left out completely for the Six Nations, he might be starting to worry.
