LIST: Five things you didn't know about George North

Now, aged 28 and 320 days, North will add another remarkable note to rugby's history books by winning his 100th Welsh cap against England.

North has already surpassed 100 internationals thanks to three British and Irish Lions Test appearances against Australia in 2013.

North was born in 1992 in King's Lynn. His father is English from Yorkshire and his Welsh mother is from Anglesey. The family moved to Anglesey when he was aged two and he is a fluent Welsh language speaker.

In June 2019 North married his long-term partner, the Olympic cyclist Becky James. On 5 May 2020 the couple announced the birth of their son Jac.

He'd only made six first team appearances for Scarlets.before winning his first cap against South Africa in 2010.

The international star spent last summer enjoying himself - riding a motorbike around the sights of Wales.

The 28-year-old will win his 100th cap for Wales, becoming the youngest player to do so for his country, beating Australia's Michael Hooper by 28 days.
