British & Irish Lions captain Sam Warburton used his social media to help an old, lost dog be reunited with its owner on Sunday.

The 29-year-old launched an appeal to find the owner on social media after finding the dog wandering alone yesterday inRhiwbina, Wales.

Warburton's tweet received over 570 retweets and 600 likes.

The flanker, who revealed the dog even give him a kiss, is well known to be a dog lover, often posting with his doggy on Instagram.

And later that day his appeal was successful with the 15-year-old girl being returned home to her owner Elizabeth Lewarne. Well done Sam!
