Leicester Tigers have a new logo and fans absolutely hate it

As part of a new look for Leicester Tigers – following the launch of their new kits – they've new fresh logo to be printed on some of their merchandise.
The new logo will not replace the Tigers shield on playing shirts and training kit, but will appear on some lines of Tigers souvenirs, including caps and hats.
It's fair to say since it replaced their traditional emblem on the clubs official Twitter account, fans aren't too keen...

BACK-THREE
D.T.H van der Merwe
Glasgow Warriors’ record try-scorer is to leave the club at the end of the current season. The 34-year-old has scored 54 tries in 123 appearances for the club over eight seasons.
If Tigers could sign the Canada international, who has already confirmed ‘he’d like to play on for a few more years’, he’d certainly guarantee tries.
Semesa Rokoduguni
The England winger was reportedly on his way to Beziers after rejecting a 25% pay-cut from Bath. However, after the French sides big-money takeover collapsed, he may once again be available. This would be a great signing.
He is an astute attacking wing with raw power and possesses the ability to beat defenders on the wide channels, as well as coming in-field to challenge over the ball. The Fijian-born England International is also a proud Lance Corporal and reconnaissance tank soldier in the British Army.
Joe Tomane
If Tigers are looking for an experienced head to help bring on some of their young backs then Tomane is an obvious choice.
The Wallaby, who is out of contract with Leinster in the summer, has been consistently brilliant for the Irish province and there will be no shortage of interest in securing the 30-year-old’s services.
Tigers should be at the front of that queue for the winger/centre.
CENTRE
Kieron Fonotia
The 32-year-old Samoa international, who is leaving Scarlets, would make a great signing for Tigers.
His silky passing skills, plus his ability to create time and space with effortless ease, have won him many admirers throughout his career.
George Wacokecoke
Despite the centre signing a new two-year deal with the Falcons back in February, he could be available for Tigers to loan - especially with Newcastle unlikely to play again to late 2020.
The 24-year-old, who was enjoying his breakthrough season at Kingston Park, is a smooth operator who is capable of the spectacular; whether that be a sudden break or a ridiculous offload.
Tom Penny
The 25-year-old, who recently left Quins following a short stint, would offer some relief for Tigers.
Penny is not short of speed, agility, and a defensive line awareness. He possesses attacking flair and is able to break the line to create opportunities outside of him.
He'd also be a fairly affordable compared to some of the other options.
BACK-ROW
Jamie Gibson
The 29-year-old back row has made 125 appearances Northampton Saints ince arriving at Franklin’s Gardens from East Midlands rivals Leicester Tigers in 2015.
Gibson has been a consistent performer and regular in the first-team squad for the past five years, notching up more than 30 matches in a single season twice and just under (29) during the 2017/18 campaign.
A reliable operator, Tigers could do a lot worse than bringing the back-rower back to Welford Road.
Taulupe Faletau
Like Rokoduguni, Faletau is yet to agree a new deal with the black, blue and whites after being asked to take a 25% pay-cut.
With the likes of Manu Tuilagi and Kyle Eastmond leaving the club, they should have the budget to make a serious offer to the 84-cap Wales back-rower.
It's reported that he will stay at Bath, but you couldn't blame Tigers exploring the idea.
John Barclay
Following his release by Edinburgh, the former Scotland captain is looking to continue playing but admitted he could instead wind up stacking supermarket shelves due to the freeze on player recruitment due to the coronavirus. The ex-national team captain stepped away from international rugby following last year’s World Cup in Japan.
