Emotional Kevin Sinfield Receives Gift Commemorating Iconic Rob Burrow Moment at Leeds Marathon

England Rugby Defence Coach Kevin Sinfield, was presented with a piece of artwork, that captured the iconic moment of him carrying former Leeds Rhino teammate Rob Burrow, across the Marathon finish line.
Earlier in May, Sinfield ran the first ever Rob Burrow Marathon in Headingley. Burrow was alongside Sinfield for the ultimate endurance event, before the former Rugby League loose-forward carried Burrow to finish the race. The fundraising event was for numerous good causes, including the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Money raised during the event, will also go to the Leeds Hospital Charity appeal, to build the Rob Burrow Centre for MND. Sinfield was presented with the award on BBC Breakfast, and was overcome with emotion after receiving the artwork. The art's creator is Charlie Mackesy, who created the commemorative print in honour of the duo's accomplishment, and impact upon raising MND awareness and charity fundraising.
Kevin Sinfield also discussed on BBC Breakfast, how he and Rob Burrow's each have nominations in the upcoming National Television Awards. He insisted to the presenters and the audience, to show their support and vote for Burrow's documentary. 'Rob Burrow: Living with MND' and 'Kevin Sinfield: Going the Extra Mile', have both been put forward in the 'Authored Documentary' category. You can vote for the documentaries here.
Leeds Live report how copies of Mackesy's print are going to be on sale for general purchase. They will be sold for £30, with £20 of each copy being donated to charity. BBC Breakfast shared on social media, how the prints have since raised an incredible £30,000 for the Rob Burrow MND Centre in Leeds.
Borthwick’s 2023 RWC 55-Man England Training Squad Predicted
The 2023 Rugby World Cup is fast approaching, and rugby fans are eagerly anticipating the announcement of Steve Borthwick's England training squad ahead of the competition.
It has been reported that Borthwick has contacted 70 England hopefuls, before he whittles down the group for the final preparations ahead of a series of RWC warm-up games this Summer.
England face a trip to Dublin, as they take on the 2023 Six Nations Grand Slam winners Ireland, before back-to-back home and matches with Wales.

The last stop on the road to the 2023 RWC is Fiji, as the Pacific Islanders make the trip to Twickenham Stadium on the 26th of August.
