James Haskell slams rugby as 'pathetic sport' after high tackle ruling

The England flanker came off the bench for Wasps against the Northampton Saints on Sunday and was disheartened by the referee's decision when a John Bassett touchdown was disallowed because of a high tackle by Haskell in the build-up.

"I'm pretty emotional about that last penalty, I don't know what's happened to rugby. It sounds like I'm fading out at the right time because it has becoming a bit of a pathetic sport at the moment I think," he said afterwards.
