The ex-flanker, who earned 77 caps for his country, has been rehabbing a torn bicep while also dealing with the emotional impact of his separation from ex-wife Chloe Madeley and the recent passing of his father.
Now 40, Haskell has been channelling his energy into his fitness, working with ROAR Fitness over a 20-week period to get into the best shape of his life—all while juggling fatherhood, work commitments, and recovery.
shared a striking before-and-after photo on Instagram, writing:
"At 40, @jameshaskell set out to get in the best shape of his life. 20 weeks of training with ROAR – all while juggling work, dad life, and recovering from a torn bicep ?
"No shortcuts. Just consistency, smart training, and real results."
Haskell recently opened up about the end of his marriage with Madeley, revealing one of the main reasons behind their split.
"If I put more time into my marriage than I did Guinness, then I wouldn't be divorced now," he told MailOnline at Pub in the Park festival in west London.
"It's one of those things in life where some things don't work out, but I have so much love for my daughter and Chloe. It's teamwork.
"What we all forget is when you have children and a marriage finishes, it's all about the kids. Chloe and I are amazing co-parents. Our priority is always Bodhi."
While he has since started dating again, he confirmed that he is currently single, having dated advertising executive Helen Barclay and Big Brother star Sara McLean, 35, earlier this year.
The former England player says he is now focusing on his family, describing his daughter as “the most important thing” in his life.

Mimi Fall – The new Mrs Itoje (Maro Itoje)
The Lions captain has officially hung up his bachelor boots after tying the knot with long-time partner Mimi Fall – just weeks before the tour kicks off.
The towering second-row proposed during a sun-soaked getaway to Nigeria and Ghana in August 2024, popping the question at a dreamy waterside resort in Ada, just outside Accra. “It was a beautiful resort,” Maro told the Daily Mail. “I popped the question there.” Job done.
