Fullback: Alex Goode (Saracens)

The fullbacks late try ensured Saracens secured their second straight European Champions Cup triumph as they edged out Clermont Auvergne 28-17 at Murrayfield. He also set up Ashton's try with a phenomenal kick.

Wing: Chris Ashton (Saracens)

Ashton couldn't hide his delight at breaking Vincent Clerc’s European try-scoring record as Saracens claimed back-to-back Champions Cup final victories.

Centre: Geoffrey Doumayrou (Stade Francais)

The centre scored a contender for try of the competition as Stad Francais ran out 25-17 winners to claim their first European cup final success at the fifth time of asking.

Centre: Ryan Crotty (Crusaders)

The All Black played a big role in his team's defensive effort against the Hurricanes.

Wing: George Bridge (Crusaders)

He is definitely making the No.11 jersey his own at the Crusaders. He never missed a tackle on defence and racked up the running metres out wide.

Fly-half: Owen Farrell (Saracens)

The England and Lions fly-half kicked 13 points in the Champions Cup final at Murrayfield. This brought the curtain down on a European campaign in which he was the top points scorer with 126, and subsequently awarded the inaugural Anthony Foley Memorial Trophy.

Hooker: Richard Hibbard (Gloucester)

His 40-yard dart down the left wing in the second half saw him bulldoze Chris Ashton and Owen Farrell out of the way – much to the delight of the Scottish contingent in the Murrayfield crowd – as he played in winger Nick Abendanon to score.

Number 8: Billy Vunipola (Saracens)

The back-rower claimed the man of the match award in what was a complete performance.
