Here are the five players who disappointed us in round 12 of the Gallagher Premiership. They will have better weekends, that's for sure!

1. Josh Matavesi (Newcastle Falcons)

It was a very tough day for the centre against Harlequins. His pass, which was intercepted by Nathan Earle for the visitor's second try, put Harlequins in control. With his confidence obviously knocked, he then did very little going forward before being dragged off after 56 minutes.

2. Owen Farrell (Saracens)

An exceptional player, but Friday nights defeat to Sale Sharks was far from his finest hour. An arguably unlucky yellow card combined with backchat and missed kicks made it an outing to forget for the England and Saracens star man. He looked very frustrated throughout.

3. Charlie Ewels (Bath Rugby)

Missed a number of tackles and was quiet before taking a heavy blow to the head during the Black, Blue and Whites narrow defeat against Worcester Warriors.

4. Jaco Visagie (Gloucester Rugby)

The South African hooker has been a consistent performer for the Cherry and Whites since joining on a short-term deal in November. However, his performance against Leicester was from his best with Visagie being replaced after 65 minutes. He's a quality player, so there's no doubt he'll bounce back next time out!

5. Max Lahiff (Bath Rugby)

Knocked on, gave away penalties and was sin-binned for killing the ball after coming off the bench.
