The 40-year-old, who played for Wigan Warriors, Leigh Centurions, and Widnes Vikings during his career, is also accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
Hock, dressed smartly in a blue suit and carrying a mac coat, appeared at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court where he stood in the dock and denied all ten charges.
The ex-forward, known for his aggressive playing style on the pitch, now faces a battle of a very different kind in court.
