Jamie George will captain England for their first fixture of the 2026 Guinness Men’s Six Nations Championship, supported by vice-captains George Ford and Ellis Genge.
“England versus Wales is always a special occasion in the rugby calendar. It’s a fierce rivalry with a long history, and one that brings a huge challenge every time we meet,” said Borthwick.

Borthwick’s side goes into the fixture in impressive form, unbeaten since their narrow opening-round defeat to Ireland last year, currently riding an 11-game winning streak.
England will aim to repeat their dominant 68-14 win in Cardiff last year, where Henry Pollock scored twice on debut. Fans will be eager to see who makes the England team to play Wales this time around.
